New Patients

Welcome to our fun and friendly chiropractic office in the Leith and Trinity areas of Edinburgh. You will be warmly welcomed and invited to sit down and complete any paperwork that hasn’t already been filled out in advance. The paperwork takes 5-10 minutes.

The First Appointment

You will be greeted, and the staff will introduce themselves. After reviewing your completed forms or completing the forms, we encourage you to ask any questions you have. You’ll also be given a consent form to read which your chiropractor will review. We also encourage you to make a note of any previous accidents, injuries or traumas and provide that information to your chiropractor.

Next, your chiropractor will perform a comprehensive exam. If X-rays are deemed necessary, we will refer you out for those. You will likely receive your first chiropractic adjustment at this visit.

Please allow 45 minutes to an hour for this first appointment.

The Second Appointment

When you return, your chiropractor will greet you and take you to the treatment room and continue care that was given at your first visit. We encourage you to ask any questions or provide your chiropractor with any observations about anything that’s changed since your last visit.

This appointment typically takes 10-15 minutes.

Do I Have to Go for Life?

Well, it depends on what you want to achieve. Going to the gym regularly to work out can help you stay fit, right? Likewise, seeing the dentist twice a year for checkups can help you maintain optimal oral health. Regular chiropractic care may help you enjoy better spinal and overall health.

Remember: everything of value requires maintenance. If your dentist looks after your teeth, who’s best suited to look after your spine and nervous system? Chiropractors are most suited to this job. When people get older, their number one complaint is their bad back. That’s why regular chiropractic care is valuable. It can help you at every stage of life and help your body heal when you have falls or other types of physical stress.

Whether you want to see us for occasional pain relief or regular maintenance care, we are always happy to oblige.

Our Approach to Patient Education

Every time you come in for care, your chiropractor will provide a little bit more about the bigger picture, about how the neurology works. We’ll meet you where you are but also challenge you to look at the bigger opportunity of taking your health to the next level.
